Once, on a camping trip, my group forgot to pack the tent rods, leaving us with just the tent itself. Undeterred, and remembering I had packed dental floss, I managed to MacGyver the tent up with floss to the surrounding trees, preventing a long and defeated return home. What does this story have to do with design? Sometimes obstacles drive great creative solutions - something I make sure to apply to creative projects (also, therein lies an engaging advertisement for dental floss!).
